This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Portuguese version is the governing text.
These terms govern the WhatsWizard Chrome extension and this website, offered by PurpleApps Studio, Av. Romeu Strazzi, 325 — Vila Sinibaldi, São José do Rio Preto/SP, CEP 15084-010. Installing or using the extension means you accept them.
1. What WhatsWizard does
The extension reads the WhatsApp Web page open in your browser, identifies phone numbers not yet in your contacts, and lets you save them to your Google Contacts account or export them as CSV.
What it does not do, and never will: send messages, reply to conversations, join groups, automate outreach, read your message content for any other purpose, or transmit captured numbers to servers of ours.
2. Account
Access uses your Google account. There is no password sign-up. One WhatsWizard account may be active on up to two devices at once; signing in on a third ends the oldest session. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Free tier
Every account may save 30 contacts once, a lifetime limit per account, not per month and not per export. On reaching it, capture stops immediately and you can still save what you already captured. Deleting the account and signing up again with the same Google account does not renew the balance; see the Privacy Policy.
4. Paid plans and billing
- Monthly: R$ 39,90/mês
- Annual: R$ 399/ano (dois meses grátis)
Prices are in Brazilian reais and include applicable taxes; we issue a nota fiscal. Outside Brazil, the price and currency are those shown at checkout. We accept credit card, with up to 12 instalments on the annual plan. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A Brazilian tax ID (CPF or CNPJ) is legally required at checkout. If we add other payment methods they will appear at checkout and this document will be updated.
5. Right of withdrawal
Seven days, no reason required, full refund, article 49 of Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code, counted from purchase. Email support@purpleapps.studio. Refunds go back to the card used for the purchase; how long they take to appear on the statement is your bank’s business, not ours.
6. Cancellation
Cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the paid cycle and there is no penalty. Cancelling does not delete your account; use the Account screen for that.
7. How you must use the product
Only with your own WhatsApp account, in conversations and groups you already legitimately have access to, in compliance with WhatsApp’s and Google’s terms, and for legitimate business purposes.
8. The numbers belong to other people, and the responsibility is yours
The numbers you capture belong to people who are not our users and who authorised nothing with us. Under the LGPD, you are the controller of that data: you decide to capture it, what to use it for, and how long to keep it. Because that data never passes through us, we cannot discharge those duties on your behalf.
So it is on you to have a lawful basis and a legitimate purpose, to keep the data only as long as needed, to answer data-subject requests yourself, and not to resell or publish captured lists.
It is expressly prohibited to use numbers obtained through WhatsWizard for bulk messaging, unsolicited marketing, spam, list resale, or anything barred by the LGPD, the Consumer Protection Code or WhatsApp’s own terms. Breaching this allows immediate termination without refund, and the consequences are entirely yours.
9. Prohibited use
You may not circumvent the free-tier or device limits, reverse-engineer or redistribute the extension, use it to access WhatsApp accounts that are not yours, or automate it beyond ordinary human use.
10. Availability
WhatsApp Web is a third-party product that changes without notice. When it changes, the extension may stop recognising the page until we ship a fix. It detects that class of failure and tells you rather than silently capturing the wrong thing, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Nor do we guarantee that any capture is exhaustive: you control what appears on screen, and what did not appear was not captured.
11. Intellectual property
The extension, the site, the WhatsWizard name and the code are ours; you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence for the term of your subscription. The data you capture is yours, subject to section 8; we claim nothing over it.
12. No affiliation
WhatsWizard is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc. or Google LLC. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC; Google and Google Contacts are trademarks of Google LLC. We use those names only to describe what the product works with.
13. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause, under Brazilian law. Nothing here removes or reduces the rights the Consumer Protection Code grants you; a clause with that effect would be void (CDC art. 51, I). To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: consequences of how you use captured numbers; action taken by WhatsApp, Meta or Google against your account; unavailability caused by changes to those third-party services; and loss of data held only on your computer.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly section 8. Where the breach is not serious, we warn first. You may close your account at any time from the Account screen.
15. Changes
Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email and inside the extension, and you may cancel free of charge. Price changes never apply to a cycle already paid for.
16. Governing law
Brazilian law applies. For consumers, the forum is the consumer’s domicile (CDC art. 101, I); otherwise, the courts of our registered seat.
